Lisa M. Cottrell-Bentley has been writing since she was a child, winning her first writing contest at age 9. Lisa and her daughters spent many hours searching for children’s books about homeschoolers, but found very few. So, they decided to create their own. We are all where we are right now and right now we are all capable of anything else.
When we accept what is, let everything else go, breathe in, becoming fully aware & conscious of every thought, feeling and movement. We have all the ability, all the energy & all the time/space reality to do it in. Oh, the endless opportunity this life provides for expansion. To find the balance of both embracing all opportunity while giving it all up. To be able to expand not for the sake of getting somewhere but because it just FEELS SOO GOOD. Roya Dedeaux lives in Orange County, California with her husband, two German Shepherds, fish, and pigeons. She is currently going to school to get her Masters in Counseling and a Marriage and Family Therapy license. I live in Northern VA with my husband and four kids. In what little free time I have, I love to create things. I make tutus, crocheted hats and also do embroidery. Linda Dobson and family began their homeschooling journey in 1985. They were having so much fun together that she wanted to share news of this educational approach with as many other families as possible. She co-founded a local homeschooling support group that now offers support and learning activities to a growing membership. She helped found and for the first two years served as coordinator of the New York (State) Home Educators’ Network. Upon creation of the National Home Education Network (NHEN) in 1999 she served as its first public relations advisor as a media contact providing reporters, journalists, and researchers with background information and interviews.
