Skeleton Key Slouchie Tam PDF Knitting Pattern
I had so much fun making this new style of slouchie tam. The intricate cabling reminds me of those old fashioned, ornate skeleton keys (hence the name!). This pattern includes both written and charted directions for both a slouchie style tam or a beret style hat.

260 yards ( 238 meters) of your favorite worsted weight yarn (9 wip)
5 mm 16” or 20” circular
5 mm double pointed needles
OR SIZE NECESSARY TO OBTAIN GAUGE
18 sts x 20 rows = 4” in Stockinette stitch
Stitch marker for making beginning of the round, cable needle,
and tapestry needle for sewing in ends.
16” in circumference (unstretched) but comfortably fits up to 23”
