I had so much fun making this new style of slouchie tam. The intricate cabling reminds me of those old fashioned, ornate skeleton keys (hence the name!).  This pattern includes both written and charted directions for both a slouchie style tam or a beret style hat.

These mini cupcakes look good enough to eat! The cupcakes are handcrafted with love. The base diameter is smaller than a tea light at only 1.25 inches (3.2 cm), and the cupcake is approximately 2 inches (5.0 cm) at its widest (wider than a tea light), and about 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) tall (not including the wick height). The mini cupcakes have a burn time of over 2 hours. Cupcakes are made with real paper cupcake wrappers, real cupcake sprinkles, and lead free wicks.  Candles should be burned while supervised to prevent fires, especially since the wax is encased in a paper wrapping. Receive 3 mini cupcake candles!

Very interesting scene I witnessed while walking about this dry poor town in Mexico~
There are no roads here just dirt paths….So the buildings and everything are covered in dust from the cars that drive by on a daily basis….Plus there is so little rain that there is  not much opportunity to for the dirt cleanse*
I found it very photo worthy~

This is one of my favorite photos I have yet taken~
I was hiking to the top of a mountain to get a view of the ocean and there were these little tiny butterfly’s abut the size of a dime…..They blend in exactly with the flowers that they were floating to and fro…..They were not visible unless they were to seen flying……I had to trace them to the landing spot as I saw them move and zoom in as they are very very small…..The colors and feel of this photo are perfect*

The crystal like look of the feathers reflecting the perfect light……The reflection in the clear water and it was taken at a crowded marina in the big city of San Diego*
I love how there is beauty all around and how a photo can capture an aspect of it, highlighting this beauty as if the mess of the city didn’t even exist….I have many photos like this where the scattered surroundings are non existent as if part of  whole scene of beauty~

WoW~ As I upload these photos I am thankful for I remember how beautiful my journey has been and what photos I have to show for it….
I absolutely love the color and lighting of this photo….It is a great example of how lighting is color and color is lighting…….The sun was setting and reflecting off the water on to the mountain side giving it a beautiful blue purple color which is an awesome background for the bright green sharp energetics of the cacti*

This is one of the most power photos I have ever taken and a personal favorite~
I was hiking a mountain and took a picture of the shoreline as the tide was out…..There is an amazing heart in the sand created by the tide line near the bottom….Then near the top in the water there is an image of an earth mother with a womb of life*
This photo is as close to a scripture in image as I have seen….The story and energetics of it I would not believe if I had not seen it*

This epic bug is a primo example of how nature presents it self for photo shoots when I tune in*
I was enjoying a desert white sand beach in Mexico when I saw this huge brightly colored bug fly to a flower~ I got very excited and started to shoot this beautiful creature like mad……The lighting was awesome, the poses perfect and then he wound up flying to another flower where he would be joined by a few other beautiful bugs for an orgy of bug beauty hehehe
I love how as I tune into the beauty around me the abundance unfolds in grace for blessed pictures*

This cloud makeup is the epicness of existence*
As the wave of clouds spirals up it is like the darkness in the yin/yang….As the wave unfolds it flows into light…..Light comes from dark….Dark comes from light….True death is rebirth…….Everything is Nothing……Life is divine dichotomy…..When one is able to let go one can truly receive…..When one is aware that one knows nothing one knows everything……As I take in this breathe here in awareness I know that it is the breathing out that allows me to breathe in & the two are so interconnected that they do not exist without each other….

This is the first night spent at the San Diego Harbor before we set sail into Mexico~
It was a full moon and the fog was very heavy…..Even though there were thousands of boats and he city of San Diego was right there the silence and sense of aloneness was very present*

This photo is the most amazing display of light I have had to share via the realms of photo~
I took a hike to the top of a mountain to try and catch the sun set….I did this hike barefoot and alone….While on the way up I saw this amazing oasis amongst the desert… This photo is so amazing because there are the mountains in the background with multi layers of color and contrast then the green which is he only green in sight for miles…These colors are then reflected off of the water giving it a magical glow….This is all happening in the sandy desert with the perfect fading light enhancing all the colors of the image*

While walking around a very dusty, poor, small town in the desert I saw this Osprey atop a cross on the town church*
So divine and regal this Epic series unfolded….I love the bright blue background of the sky….The warn white paint of the cross and this powerful intense bird sitting atop the highest point in town which happened to be a cross*

The color and detail in this picture are amazing~
This pelican looks so wise and beautiful*
If you look closely you will notice that he has fishing line hanging from his mouth because he has a lure caught in his mouth….Despite this he is living his life full on without complaint~
Nature has been destroyed, taken advantage of, dis respected, raped, abused and un cared for by millions for years*
There is no judgment, no hostility, or anger…..There is no sadness, suffering or hatred…..Just living breathing being as is moment to moment~

I really love the pelican~
The Pelican is such an under appreciated bird…..Every time I saw a pelican it was relaxed, focused, and very aware…..They catch a fish almost every time they attempt and the seagulls always follow them around because they are so good at finding the fish*
A cute little characteristic that I noticed is that when they dive and catch a fish the waggle their lil tails… It is rare that they do not catch a fish so the waggle is an easy witness hehehe

I have never witnessed a puffer fish as cute until this moment…..I sorta always perceived them as dangerous….I was snorkling in some shallow water and saw this cute lil guy wash up on the sand…..He is still alive and all puffed up but I put him back in the ocean with a stick and he just floated ashore again….I guess he was ready to transition or really wanted a full on photo shoot hehehe~
He has such a cute face….His mouth is a very noticeable smile*

I love love love this photo…….The vibrant life force coming through in the color of this pomegranate is pure beauty*
I was walking through a very dusty poor town in Mexico that had no paved roads….So everything anywhere near a road was covered in dust….This tree was hanging over a fence but the fruit was covered in dust….I dusted them off and SHKABAO* a bright red beautiful fruit Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
There is something so special about the simple nature of this photo…..The circumstances are a great story of what lies beneath~

This photo shoot was so fun~
As I was exploring a very small fishing town on the Baja Peninsula I saw this nest that was atop a telephone poll* These amazing birds (Osprey) had made this nest there*
These birds are so awesome to witness because they are very large, powerful, graceful birds of prey~ They nest in pairs & are on constant rotation for the thrival of their life*
While one bird stays with the nest the other flys out to collect nesting materials or to catch food….Then when one returns with the goods the other takes off as soon as landing takes place….So they are constantly protecting the nest while resting and collecting life’s necessities*

The pattern features a folded ribbed cuff, some simple cables, and a little bit of lace thrown in to keep you on your toes. The White Caps Slouchie stitch pattern morphs smoothly and beautifully into a tidy crown.
